There are many consumers who have chosen not to purchase anything online for fear of fraud. However, as long as you follow some simple guidelines, you are just as, or more, safe to shop online.
Internet Advertisers Bureau (IAB) which is an advocate on behalf of sellers has recommended five guidelines for safe online shopping:
- Do you trust the retailer? If you are not already familiar with them, call the retailer directly if you have any doubts.
- Do they have a secure web site? The padlock icon located at the bottom of the browser window shows you which web sites are secure, registered and encrypted.
- Don’t think you should be held responsible? If your credit card is used fraudulently, note that you have little or no financial liability.
- Is your password the same from site to site? It’s best to vary your passwords and stay away from ones that can be easily guessed.
- Did you print? Make sure you print a copy of all online transactions for your records.
The IAB points out that Internet credit card fraud is nothing compared to the offline credit card fraud, just use your common sense as you shop online.

All orders are shipped via United States Parcel Service from our warehouse in New Jersey to the 48 contiguous US states plus Alaska and Hawaii. For orders to be delivered outside these areas, please visit our mother site at www.maduratea.com.au. Whilst we ship your order from our warehouse in the United States, we check your order in Australia, so please allow up to 4 business days for dispatching. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of our products or if you find that your order contains a wrong item, simply contact us by email within 30 days of your delivery, and we will replace it or refund your money, whichever you prefer. Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of an order can be done prior to shipment of the order. However, if the order has been shipped and you would like to cancel the order please refer to our Order Cancellation Procedure below.
All monies that have been paid to Madura Tea Estates by our customer will be returned in full, in like payment method as made by the buyer. We will deduct any amount that was spent on any special handling or processing at the direction of customer.
Order Cancellation Procedure
Contact Madura Tea Estates by Phone, Fax or E-mail (click on Contact Us below) and indicate that you would like to cancel an order. Be sure to include the order number that you were assigned on the invoice. Do not send any money if you decide to cancel your order and have yet to send payment. Goods already received must be returned, in satisfactory condition, to the address shown in the Return Policy above.
If you have sent money and then decide that you want to cancel your order, we will send your payment back to you in full. Your funds will be returned to you in a similar method as you paid them to Madura Tea Estates.
