Madura Tea

"I love Madura Tea and have been drinking it for 15 years after my mother-in-law got me to change from Lan Choo Tea. I used to have to buy it from the Health Food Shop. All my family have changed to Madura and we mostly have tea leaves and use a tea pot. The Best! When we go away we always take our Madura Tea Bags as there is nothing like it. A cuppa fixes all sorts of things."

Lyn

Tea Antioxidants

Every cup of Madura tea is naturally low in caffeine and contains an abundance of antioxidants.

Researchers have found that antioxidants in tea – known as polyphenols - scour the body to locate and neutralize free radicals. If unchecked, free radicals can accelerate the ageing process and lead to serious health problems.

Free radicals are unstable cells missing one electron that may have spawned from environmental factors such as pollution, pesticides and smoking. They create havoc by trying to ‘steal’ electrons from healthy cells. Antioxidants neutralise free radicals by donating one of their electrons, thereby preventing tissue and cell damage.

Drinking tea that is abundant in antioxidants is an inexpensive, easy and enjoyable way to offset free radical formation and improve your general health and well being. Green tea generally has less caffeine than black tea, and slightly more antioxidants per cup, making it the preferred tea of many health professionals.
