All my family have changed to Madura and we mostly have tea leaves and use a tea pot. The Best! When we go away we always take our Madura Tea Bags as there is nothing like it. A cuppa fixes all sorts of things."

Our People

Madura was founded by a third-generation tea planter from Ceylon, Michael Grant-Cook, and his wife Norma in 1978. Like many other tea planters of his time, Mike was looking for the perfect sub-tropical conditions to make a superior, consistent and full-bodied tea.

As a pioneer of eco-sensitive farming, Mike’s vision was to produce the best teas in the world while preserving and enhancing the natural environment.

Today, Madura is guided by four families who are carrying on the tradition of sustainable tea farming and production. We employ around 50 people as part of our ‘family’ to produce premium, pure teas that are enjoyed by discerning tea drinkers around the world.
